Remota ROV™

Remota ROV™ is a service that allows ROVs to be operated from a Remote Operation Center (ROC), meaning that the operators are stationed onshore.

To allow for Remota ROV™ some equipment is to be installed on the vessel. This installation, named Remota Onboard™ ensures that all relevant data is received at ROC, with the lowest possible latency.

The benefits with ROV operations from shore can be a more flexible schedule and higher productivity, as one ROC can control more than one ROV systems in different locations during one day. Other benefits include less travelling and safe working conditions onshore.
